44th ANNUAL 1890'S DAY JAMBOREE

OLD TIME FIDDLERS CONVENTION MUSICAL COMPETITION

At the historic Ringgold Court House, Saturday May 25, 2019, Ringgold Georgia

Registration Begins at 8:30 A.M., competition begins at 9:30 A.M.

Mandolin Competition (no age limit)

• 1st place $200.00, 2nd place $100.00, 3rd place $50.00

Guitar Competition (no age limit)

• 1st place $200.00, 2nd place $100.00, 3rd place $50.00

PARADE STARTS AT 11:00 A.M.

NO COMPETITION TILL PARADE ENDS APPROX 12:30 P.M.

Competition resumes:  Complete Guitar Competition if not completed before parade.


Banjo Contest (no age limit)

1st Place $200; 2nd Place $100; 3rd Place $50

Fiddle Competition

• 10 and under, 1st place $100.00, 2nd place $50.00 3rd 25.00
• 11-15, 1st place $150.00 2nd place $100.00 3rd place $75.00, 4th place $50.00
• 16-21, 1st place $200.00, 2nd place $100.00, 3rd place $75.00, 4th place $50.00
• 22-50, 1st place $250.00, 2nd place $150.00, 3rd place $100.00, 4th place $50.00
• 51 and up, 1st place $250.00, 2nd place $150.00, 3rd place $100.00, 4th place $50.00

Band Competition - Maximum 5 bands.  Bands can pre-register.

• 1st Place $600.00, 2nd place $400.00, 3rd Place $200.00

Individual Dance Competition

• 4 age brackets, 10 and under, 11-20, 21-30, and 31 and up


• Each age bracket pays, 1st place $150.00, 2nd place $75.00, 3rd place $25.00

Team Dance Competition (no age brackets)

• 1st place 500.00, 2nd place 300.00, 3rd place 200.00, 4th place 100.00

$200.00 awarded to the back up musician who backs up the most contestants.
